Of Fate, Buses and Temporal Mechanics

Author: Neth Dugan
Rating: PG-13
Category: Gen, Crossover with Spoiler
Characters: Rodney McKay, mentions of Chuck and Spoiler
Disclaimer: I don't own any of this - if I did I'd be far richer and smarter than I am currently
Summary: A freak accident, a moronic one at that, had shaped the course of his entire existance. And if Rodney didn't think about it too hard, he might manage to avoid giving himself a concusion.

Author's Note:
Beta read by [info]archae_ology . Had this idea in my head a good long while, and then something else inspired me to actually write it and give it a point. Not long, but in a way follows a grand tradition of SGA fic.

Not Prone To Impulse

Author: Neth Dugan
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Ten/Ianto, some Jack/Ianto
Disclaimer: I own none of it, not the shows and not the characters.
Spoilers: Doctor Who up to the end of series three, Torchwood up to the end of series one.
Summary: Ianto Jones was never a man prone to making impulsive decisions. He liked a well ordered world that he could reason out, however his entire life changed after once, just once, he gave in to impulse and decided to find out what was inside that big blue box.

Author's Notes: First, this was beta read by the fantastic [info]archae_ology  and [info]scifinut , so thank you very much, both of you! Actually, this is all [info]archae_ology 's fault as she put the entire bleeding idea into my head so this is also dedicated to that evil woman *g*. Also, the timeline on when this takes place is slightly odd. It starts before Torchwood series one and Doomsday, but also after Doomsday. Timey-Whimey.

Several icons from episode 4.06 (I'll not say the title just in case), they all focus on the character Jenny because I loved her, and I got into an icon making mood after I'd started.

[x] All are up for grabs just so long as you credit
[x] All screen caps are mine

Non-Spoiler teasers:

Feedback is welcomed, and I hope you all enjoy!</div>

So there's this fic by [info]sam_storyteller called Cartographer's Craft that, despite pairings that usually stop me from ever reading a fic is absolutely fantastic, and full of brilliance so you must all go and read it! In any case, I did a book cover for it. Hope you all like!

Okay, so I'm not the best painter in the world, and I've a lot of way to go yet. It would be nice some day to get the skill that my grandmother had. She sold her paintings and had them up in exhibits around the place, a guy in my Art class years ago even recognised the name and got her mixed up with me, I was named after her. In any case, Granma is dead now, year yesterday, but she'd have loved the idea of a graphics tablet and thus I head a go again.

And came up with this:

Hope you all like! And honestly, constructive crit would be very much appreciated.

Title: The Anla'Shok of Lantea
Author: Neth Dugan
Character/Pairing: mostly gen, vague references to McKay/Sheppard and Marcus/Susan
Rating: PG-13
Disclaimer: I don't own any of it, Babylon 5 is from the mind of the Great Maker JMS, and SGA is Sci-Fi channel.
Author's Notes: This, though a few days late, my gift to my flist for my birthday. I had a hobbit like urge to do it. It's a Babylon 5/Stargate: Atlantis crossover and mostly from Marcus' point of view though you do see events from other PoVs now and then. AU from Sunday onwards in the SGA-verse, and starts just towards the end of Endgame/Rising Star in the B5-verse. I hope you guys like, it's a bit long and rather more B5 focused than I first intended, but it's not too bad. Or so I think *g*.

Summary: Marcus Cole gave up his life to save Susan, but when something unexpected happens, and he ends up some place completely different he must find purpose and meaning in the city of the Ancients.

Title: I Will Go There
Author: Neth Dugan
Character/Pairing: Rose/Doctor, TARDIS
Rating: G
Disclaimer: I don't own any of it, Doctor Who belongs to the BBC, the verses belong to... Howard Shore and Co. I'd imagine.
Author's Notes: For the Time and Chips advent calendar. I was wondering what to do a story about, or even some graphics when May It Be came up on iTunes and it hit me. So this is a story about people separated from each other, years after the event. It's not emo, it's not tragic, and I like to think it's fairly realistic, and even hopeful. Hope that you all do too.

Summary: It's been years since they were separated and though they live their lives, every now and then thoughts turn...

This was inspired by [info]aretria 's fanart, the female!Rodney got me thinking, and after several hours of making, a day of waiting and then another few hours fiddling, I came up with what I have. Now, I made John/Joan science staff cause I have a real love for anything geek!John, but there's a bw version where she could quite as easily be military.

Five Times Sam Chose Life, and One Time He Didn’t

Rating: Turquoise Cortina (PG-13)
Warnings: Some depressing Themes (nothing explicit however)
Characters: Sam, some Gene
Spoilers: End of Season 2
Word Count: 3,962 (excluding header)

Summary: There is a theory that says that anything that can happen, does happen. Every decision to every choice has been made somewhere. In the finale Sam had a reality to decide upon and a choice to make – these are the consequences.

Author Notes: I started this not long after the finale originally aired but didn’t finish it till now because the last bit got me stuck for ages. This is the result of pondering what the ending means, what others seem to think it means. Interpretations, disappointments, joys, everything that comes with the ending of a series, and the resulting gap of wonder in our heads. I have to say thank you to [info]m31andy  who beta read this for me, and did a good job if I may say so, so thank you!

Hope you guys like!
